Shelter Dilemmas
With a bitterly cold wind cutting your face into shreds whilst waiting at the bus shelter first thing in the morning - it’s not surprising when you feel even colder looking at the advertising that adorns the bus shelters in the run up to the Christmas holiday season.
A double-shot of brandy would do me fine instead - but I have work to go to. And she looks vaguely like someone I know. Reminds me that Imperial Leather do an orange flavour version too.

Come to think of it, you're right. But near Temple Meads here, there is an Estee Lauder ad in a bus shelter that kinda heats things up as well. Or was it YSL? never remember the name, but who cares about the brand!

What is that painting in the background all about? (Unauthorised posters will be prosecuted).
Can you get a photo of it?

Sat: good for you! (Although it is said that alcohol in moderation can be good for you in certain circumstances!)
Nigel & Vic: Have been following your journal so far - very envious too! Still to take a closer look at all your pictures though. Hope you have a gret Christmas and New Year celebration out there!
Anand: I think it's Loreal. I think I know the one you mean. ;-)
Annette: you can see more of the pic on the following pages:
A view of the same bus stop from a different angle:

and you will also get a glimpse of it in my Shockwave montage presentation of CCTV shots at:

and also - Brent Council (who commissioned the work from Kamala Arts) have a page on the mural here:

Even that will not force me to touch alcohol.
I even hate the taste of liquor chocolate (I did taste it once - and thats why)

I've noticed the Cointreau ads as well. I think the one where she's resting her head on her hand should have the words 'bored - but drunk enough to talk to you'

Sat: I'll have to agree with you on the liquer choc thing - they are enough to put you off alcohol forever. But a cool beer (or two) in the summer is very refreshing! :-)
Rhys: I haven't seen that one - but I'll look out for it! That's if they are still up. Perhaps Cointreau is a seasonal thing.
