Took my usual place on the upper deck of Route79 bus home tonight. Right at the back. It’s where the teenagers like to hang out. Not sure exactly why they do - but they do.
Turn up the volume - and click on the “play” button in the media player below to hear the sounds of the journey home.
Most people would keep a straight face.
But I just couldn’t.
Posted by jag at September 27, 2004 10:44 PMI forgot that was loading, and wandered off to make a very stony faced call about legal /business separation matters with my ex, when a weird ditty burst out. At first I thought all the plugs in the house were malfunctioning, then perhaps the phone was possessed by forces of terror. :)
Posted by: Vanessa on September 28, 2004 07:03 PMThey sound annoying, but not as annoying as teenagers in a west london classroom where there’s 30+ of them. I have to put up with that everyday.
They hang at the back of the bus because of the long row of seats is comfy? And it makes them look ‘well hard’ :]

JC: I cannot begin to imagine what a class of 30+ of them would be like. Don’t envy you for one moment. Yes: well hard. I’m like that too - especially when I sit amongst them. That makes them even more determined to show that they are.
