Fiddling with phones
I think I’m turning into a mobile-phone spotter. I had some leftover pictures from last weekend’s daytrip into Central London.

And although mobile phones do not work on the London Underground system (yet) everywhere you go you will find people clicking away on their phones anyway.

How do you take photos on the tube? Whenever I get my camera out, people look at me like I’m commiting a crime of some sort.
Posted by: JC on August 24, 2004 06:28 PMHi JC - yes I know exactly how you feel - but I have learned over time that if you stare back at them hard enough (like “what’s your problem?”) then they look away. The trick is to be assertive - and be quick. Or perhaps to just pretend you’re a tourist! :-)
