Palm Beach
A restaurant which is a landmark at the North end of Ealing Road near the junction with Wembley High Road. My Route 79 bus stops right opposite it. For as long as I can remember this restaurant was painted yellow. But recently they painted it green.

Shobha: yes - that is funny!
Anand: Indeed! Almost every restaurant around Ealing Road Wembley is advertising "South Indian and Sri Lankan" - and some do Gujurati and North Indian and Chinese too. Whereas Gujurati peoples used to dominate this area - a very large Sri Lankan population has built up here over the last 10 years.

What have you guys got against tamil/sri lankan people anyway? our food is good, i hate people who think tamils are just wannabe indians, we have our own culture, and if you are good in geogrpahy, sri lanka was once joined to indian, until it broke off a million years ago!

Jeevan - where are you getting the idea that anything bad is being said about Tamils or Sri Lankans??
NOTHING bad is being said about Tanmils or Sri Lankans here! Please read the words carefully before coming to such conclusions!
I am proud of our multicultural mix. That includes all peoples - black, white, Chinese, Japanese - brown (Indian, Pakistani, Sri Lankans) - and am even more proud of the fact that we believe in so many different faiths - and speak so many different languages.
Just like you: I also hate people who think that tamils are just "wannabe Indians". If anybody said something like that on these pages then I would oppose it.
