Little Britain
On the way to work this morning in the heart of Central London I stopped to take a good look at a side street that I normally just walk by without looking. It's a strange street - because it's visually a very uninteresting street - but has a very strange name. The name of the street is "Little Britain".

It would have been apt if they had mentioned what "special" limits the police have w.r.t. that street.

Cheers Konstantin! And Simone - if you do pay it a visit then be sure to let me know - if I'm around that day - my office is a just a hundred metres away! In any case - there are a lot of other great things to see around there: esp. St.Pauls and also Museum of London - which is only a few metres away. Also - right next to the picture I took is a church that is over a thousand years old - with a realy cute garden to one side called "Postman's Park" - I often sit down on a bench for a few minutes in this tiny little garden first thing in the morning - and imagine what it was like hundreds of years ago!

"Postman's Park" sounds vaguely familiar to me... I guess I must have been there or at least passed it on one of my random walks. St.Pauls and the Museum of London defintely will be "on my list" for this year again, so chances are quite good I'll get to visit "Little Britain".

Let's just hope this great sign stays there! loads of fans of the TV show would have interest in having it in their front room! We happen to have a road of the same name in our town of Dorchester, Dorset. But alas, the sign has been pinched...so making this one unique!

Giles: This particular sign is quite high up on the wall - making it probably quite difficult to nick! But I agreee - I, too, hope it stays there!
