Bollywood loves Dilbert

I have been long time fan of Dilbert. This loveable, but immensely witty character has many a time provided a well-earned laugh in the office over the years. I am also a long time fan of Aishwarya Rai - who is a megastar of Indian Cinema (Bollywood) - and someone with massive potential to stun Western cinema audiences - e.g. Hollywood etc. So I thought to myself - wouldn't it be great if Dilbert could meet Aishwarya? Well - on the Internet, anything's possible! Click on the big red button in the shockwave flash object below (once it's loaded - only less than 700k) to witness Aishwarya singing and dancing for Dilbert in the latest Route79 production: "Bollywood loves Dilbert". (Make sure you turn up the volume!)

Have you seen The Singhsons (http://www.badmash.org/singhson.php ) ?

Posted by: Nigel at March 24, 2004 11:06 AM

Sat: Yes - cheers!

Nigel: yes I saw the Singhson's thing on Badmash a couple of weeks ago - very funny! Been visiting Badmash for a while - very "Americanised" humour though - but nevertheless funny.

Great stuff Jag. I expected a little more dancing from Dilbert, but then he is an engineer.

Cheers Stu. Yes - I figured that Dilbert would enjoy just watching Aish dance! :-)
By the way - look out for Aish - she is hot property around Hollywood at the moment. She was rumoured to be the next Bond girl.

Yeah I know that's pretty crass - but expect to see/hear a lot about her soon ...

Very good Jag, I like the way Dilbert is totally dwarfed by Aish.

Also I hadn't seen the Singhsons and they were good fun too

Thanks Annie.
I always figured that Dilbert was a small guy!

Very Impressive Jag! These films are hilarious! I loved the Slough movie! Just by chance Margareta found this Asian Women's Film Festival which you might find interesting.

oops, my mark-up seems to have gone missing. So here's the URL: http://www.tonguesonfire.com

Hi Chakra: glad you enjoyed it!

Marcus: also glad you find them entertaining - I must admit - the Slough one really makes me laugh - prob because it figures me in it! Thanks to Margareta for the link to Tounges of Fire festival - sounds fascinating. It seems I have missed much of the stiff already - but the 22 minute short film at Westminster Harrow campus (Aakrosh) looks interesting and is something I could quite easily get to. Thanks for the reference!

That was so cool! 'dilber't seemed totally awed by Aish.....

Posted by: Charu at March 26, 2004 04:58 AM

Simply Amazing!!
Great work Jag :)

Posted by: Sidharth at March 26, 2004 05:56 AM

Hi Charu: amazing how it turned out - because I didn't have much time to get the snippets and pictures together - but Dilbert's sequence of frames really make hime look like he's overwhelmed by the spectacle.

Sidharth: thanks!
